ST Cannon

The ST Cannon, in which "S" stands for "Skim", is an opening setup with the pattern of Single-line Skim→TSS→TSD→Perfect Clear. It can be built with early S and I, and has 95.79% chance of a third-bag Perfect Clear. This setup is discovered and named by a Taiwanese player Octupus Tea.

First Bag

ST Cannon works the best with early S (or Z when mirrored) and preferably early I. The setup rate is 73.81% (3720/5040) when counting both orientations.

In case of late I, one can skim first and utilize the I mino twist.

The second bag can always be stacked like this.

Solution with T-Spin

The following setups, along with setup A and F, have T-spin potential. The combined PC chance is 42.22% with T-spin, and is 58.21% when T-spin is not necessary.

Garbage Interrupted Variation

The second bag is likely to be interrupted if a garbage hole spawned under L or I (in the 7th or 10th column).

Other Continuation

Shachiku Train

Instead of a third-bag perfect clear, one can repeatedly stack Shachiku Train after the second bag, forming a column-rotated Mechanical TSD v3 setup. This setup is not recommended in combats, since it results in increasingly higher stacking and two 1-wide wells.
