This page details the data Hard Drop Wiki may collect from users and how the data is handled.

User Data

Hard Drop Wiki runs on MediaWiki, which allows anybody to contribute to most of this wiki's pages. Its contents are open to the public to view and edit freely. When you submit any edits to the wiki, such as adding, removing, or changing a page or or uploading a file, Hard Drop Wiki will log your data, such as your IP address, the contents of your submissions, and your location. By posting an edit, you agree to this data being recorded and released irrevocably. If you do not agree, please do not submit any edits.

By creating an account on this wiki, Hard Drop Wiki will ask for your your username, your password, and, if given, your email address and real name. Your email and real name, tied to your account, can be removed by the user by going into their Preferences page. However, if you forget your password or email address and cannot log in, Hard Drop Wiki will not be able to recover your account for you. Hard Drop Wiki respects your privacy and will not sell or disclose user acccount data to anyone.

By logging into your account, Hard Drop Wiki will store cookies on your browser; users have the option to turn cookies off, but however they will not be able to use the Wiki while logged in.

Content

Because anyone may contribute to the Hard Drop Wiki, the Wiki is not responsible for any content published on the Wiki which may be misleading, in misconduct, or may disclose private information. Wiki staff will monitor changes made to the wiki and remove any such content as soon as possible.

Hard Drop Wiki is also not responsible for anything that happens from external links, or from certain extensions (like Youtube embeds) if you give them permission to collect your data.
