- TAWS Charity Raises Nearly £300
Hosted by TAWS (TETR.IO Amateur Weeklies) and ChocoSprinkles, this SS capped tournament amassed 101 participants and the top 3 finishers – Femboi (Yukinya), Microwave (mmmmm/zavier7763) and Maosense – could choose which charities the donations went to. In the end, £205.62 went to the Cancer Research Institute, and £79.97 was donated to Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders).
“It was TAWS' most successful tournament to date”, says TAWS owner Ads20000. “[We’re] proud to have helped raise money for very deserving causes."
In addition to managing the prizepool, the top 3 will also receive TETR.IO Supporter and custom badges designed by Choco, DavidScann and Sy.
TAWS has been hosting tournaments at an incredible rate, and their Discord server recently surpassed 1300 members. Formerly known as JAWS (**Jstris** Amateur Weeklies), the server was taken over and rebranded by Ads, who also organizes the majority of the events.
