- Many players were devastated when Jstris suffered an outage on Monday, preventing any and all access to the site. Jezevec was quick to provide a reason, announcing that the “server provider banned jstris server for high traffic”. Jstris was finally unbanned 10 hours after the announcement, but players have still reported instability when using the site.

- Apotris Receives DMCA Takedown Notice
- Tetris Holding, LLC has filed a DMCA takedown notice against the Game Boy Advance stacker game Apotris stating that "it reproduces copyrightable expression from our client’s game". TETR.IO owner osk notes that "Once a game has been made public, nothing in the copyright law prevents others from developing another game based on similar principles". Despite this setback, support will be continued with new features on the way, says the developer. As of the takedown, a little over a year after its release, the game had amassed just below 10,000 downloads.
