- Puzzle Kingdom Secures Sponsorships
Puzzle Kingdom (PK) has recently partnered up with several organizations in their ongoing pursuit to bring puzzle game content to the community. Currently, they are sponsored by I Expect You To Die (game), American Red Cross, Breakout Games, and Activate Games. In addition, they are working with Hitbox and TopplePop by ArkimA Games. According to Moose, PK’s founder and admin, the sponsorships have covered the cost of Square One and allowed PK to plan 3 LAN events, streamlining their ideas for the future.
- Tetris Survivor Makes and Breaks Friendships
Since April 18, Tetris Survivor has released 4 challenges and 4 players have been eliminated. This event is a parody of the American TV series Survival and hosted by Xynix, who invited community leaders and top TETR.IO players including Blaarg, Promo and Blink. - Marine Wins Hololive PPT2 Tournament
Organized by Suisei and Pekora from HololiveJP, the Hololive Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 tournament pitted 18 Hololive members against each other and was streamed live to millions of viewers on Holodex and YouTube. Houshou Marine won the finals on April 16, defeating Koyori’s Tetris with her Puyo gameplay. This cemented herself as the top player behind Suisei, who was banned beforehand for being too good. The tournament caused a significant jump in PPT2 sales, and will hopefully lead to higher interest in the game!
- Master101 takes the world record for invisible sprint, finishing in 15.941s despite being unable to see the board!

- Lurny grabs double world records in 100L Sprint, first taking the record and then improving it by more than three seconds, becoming the first to sub 40!

- Fortissim2 gets a little silly and takes the Jstris Ultra world record becoming the first to break 210,000 score despite an unfortunate choked ending.
