Glitter Brooch

Glitter Brooch is a T-Spin Double opener by created by Agent RO.

First Bag

In the first bag, it requires an early I piece as well as rather early L and J pieces. The 3 requirements from left to right are an L before Z, an I before S and a J before O.

Second Bag and later

General stacks

The second bag is confirmed with diagrams 2 to 4. Diagram 1 is additional, but it is shown first because it is the most ideal form when you want to make a Perfect Clear, another T-Spin Double or use LST stacking in the third bag.

Perfect Clear after 6 lines

The second bag can be stacked in the following ways resulting in a T-Spin Double and giving a chance for a Perfect Clear after 6 lines cleared in total. If a piece is split into 2 parts in a diagram, it means that the piece must be inserted after the T-Spin line clear. Usually, the Perfect Clear is completed with an O or I piece coming first or second in the third bag. If a diagram contains less than 7 pieces, it means that the missing piece can be kept on hold while filling the empty cells with the first 2 pieces of the third bag.

There are two solutions for the fourth diagram.

Perfect Clear after 8 lines

The second bag can be stacked in a way that clears a T-Spin Double and prepares a Perfect Clear after 8 cleared lines in total. In the first case, the held piece will be used along with the third bag in most cases.

• S → Z (J on hold, 98.93% PC rate, 42 minimal solutions + α): This is the most ideal way to get a Perfect Clear in the third bag.

• S → Z and J → O (94.17% PC rate, 29 minimal solutions)

• S → Z and IO → J (89.29% PC rate, 18 minimal solutions)

• S → Z and IO → J (86.07% PC rate, 23 minimal solutions)

• Z → IL (83.33% PC rate, 23 minimal solutions): This continuation is used when you get a Z piece before I and L. If the I and/or L piece comes before Z, the 6-high PC continuations are suitable.

PC after 8 lines (Confirmed)

• S → Z / Z → O (50.75% PC rate, 10 minimal solutions)

If you cannot make a Perfect Clear, you can make a T-Spin Double, in most cases, in one of these two ways. If possible, you may also make a 12-line Perfect Clear setup.

• O → Z (41.27% PC rate, 3 solutions)

If you cannot make a Perfect Clear, you can follow it up with LST stacking. If possible, you may make a 12-line Perfect Clear setup (not shown).

Late O Piece

If the O piece shows up late in the first bag but L and I were already placed in the Glitter Brooch-specific way, then the player may revert to the following setup. The final shape is the same as TKI 3 Flat Top.

Second Bag and later

• LST Stacking: You will have to improvise from the second bag onwards.

• Mechanical TSD

• Perfect Clear after 6 lines: The second bag can be stacked in the following ways resulting in a T-Spin Double and giving a chance for a Perfect Clear after 6 lines cleared in total. Usually, the Perfect Clear is completed with an S or I piece coming first or second in the third bag.

• Perfect Clear after 8 lines: The second bag can be stacked in a way that clears a T-Spin Double and prepares a Perfect Clear after 8 cleared lines in total. For this example, the Perfect Clear rate is 44.17%.
