Super T-Spin Double or short STSD is a technique that results in two T-Spin Doubles. The technique is often used in mid-game. It can also be used as an opener but receiving garbage with a hole in the wrong column will break the T-Spin execution (wrong column means the third column from left respectively right in most pictures below).

Other Setups
T pieces are not required in the upstack of these setups. Hold the T pieces until one is ready to clear both T-spin doubles.

STSD with T Base
Because a T piece is used in base these setups, the player must wait until at least the 3rd bag before having both T pieces required for clearing the STSD. By this point, there will be a decent 2-wide above the STSD (see discussion below).

General Tips
- An STSD setup can be used over an empty column. This can be very useful when approaching rows that are too high to set up a TSD or if the player wants to sneak in a second T-Spin Double. When used in combination with tetrises, this technique can be very deadly.
- When placing an STSD over a tetris column, a player can still tetris if the notch has not been set up.
Notch is not OK.

Overhang is OK.

Advanced Tips
- STSD setups can be stacked
- Similarly, the STSD can be used as a funnel for other T-Spin setups. This can be useful during a T piece drought. The following example is an STSD on an Imperial Cross.
- There are several setups that can be obtained from inserting a T-Spin Double in the middle of an STSD.
