Stickspin is an opener that results in a T-Spin Single in the first bag, a T-Spin Double in the second bag and a T-Spin Triple in the third bag, while preparing another T-Spin slot at the end of the opener. It is similar to SingleYou, but the T-Spin Single is vertical, not horizontal. Like SingleYou, it will work if in the first bag, O comes before S (Z in the mirrored setup) or T. If it is not possible, it is recommended to learn how to do a Perfect clear, a TKI 3 Opening or another Opener along with this. It is invented by stickmancomic.
First Bag

Second Bag
In the second bag, it is always possible to stack like so (placement of JL is interchangeable).
Third Bag
There are various ways to stack the third bag. At least one of these three stacks will be applicable for all bags:
- J → OL
- L → J
- O → J → L
However, when L comes before J, the variation listed above will not completely fill the rows required for a T-Spin Double after the T-Spin Triple. Three other stacks are recommended to achieve this:
- L → O → J
- O → L → J and S → I
- J → O and S → I
For the above variations, the placements of S and Z are fixed. It is possible to freestyle depending on the contents of the 4th bag as well as the location of any garbage holes underneath the setup.
Note: For the C-Spin (i.e. a T-Spin Triple that results in a T-Spin Double) to work one must have a two-high wall next to the opening of the setup. If confused, see the General Tips on the T-Spin Triple Setups page.
Delaying the Second Bag T-Spin
With a late T in the third bag, it is possible to delay the second bag T-Spin Double by partially or fully stacking the third bag while keeping the second bag T piece in hold, with the resulting setup being similar to a DT Cannon. This allows for multiple T-Spins to be done in quick succession.

Note: This setup may use the T-Spin Triple overhang and kick to insert the T piece into the T-spin Double slot; be mindful on whether this is required and possible while stacking the third bag.
Fourth Bag
In the fourth bag, one can simply do a T-Spin Double or convert it to another setup from the residue. It will leave a clean board and allow for easy garbage access.

Continuations
From certain third bag builds listed above, it is possible to make this field, which is flexible and suitable for building various T-Spin setups:
Examples of continuations resulting from this field:
- Floating T-Spin Double
- Perfect Clear after 12 Lines (14.29% PC rate, 1 minimal solution)
Otherwise, you can try building other T-Spin setups according to your field such as:
- Trinity/STSD

Perfect Clears
Stickspin has various Perfect Clear opportunities that may arise when performing the opener:
Perfect Clear after 8 lines
After a T-Spin Double in the second bag is executed, there is a 33.73% chance of being able to perform a Perfect Clear.
Below are the solutions. Diagram 1 may result in a T-Spin Single beforehand.
Perfect Clear after 10 lines
Certain third bag variations have 10 line Perfect Clear opportunities.
- L → J (10.79% PC rate, 3 minimal solutions)
- L → O → J (13.81% PC rate, 3 minimal solutions)
Perfect Clear after 14 lines
After the 3rd bag, one may stack in a way that provides high probability of a Perfect Clear in 14 lines.
- T → Z and S → J → O / T → S and IZ → L → O (96.87% PC rate, 19 minimal solutions)
- S → T → JL (100% PC rate, 6 minimal solutions): Note that you can perform a S-Spin in this setup with the Z piece as an overhang.
- T → I and J → L (71.90% PC rate, 5 minimal solutions): If you get late T and J pieces, you will not be able to stack this.

Stickskim
Stickspin will not work in the first bag if O comes after T, Z, and S. A rearrange of the first bag provides the same field with a single line clear instead of a T-Spin Single.
