From Hard Drop Tetris Wiki
Trinity is a T-Spin setup that allows for three T-Spin Doubles (or an STD - Single, Triple, Double). This is a fancy setup, although arguably if one can do their T-Spin earlier it is preferred. If no T is in sight, they may opt to invest into forming a Trinity. Also note that not all Trinity setups will give them the option of TSD Declined. Depending on which side their overhang is on, they may be left with an S-Spin Triple or Z-Spin Triple instead.

Mid-Game setups
The situation shown below is the most basic way to stack a Trinity. There are other ways to create a Trinity.

|
Chopin Signature Trinity
Using Chopin's setup is probably much easier to implement than the traditional Trinity since it is just a piece combination to the side rather than a jagged shape on the edge of the stack. Chopin's point is that if one holds off on putting a line piece there, that they can convert the move into a DT Cannon (in the unlikely event that they have not started to top out yet). These cannon opportunities will be very rare, but as long as the I is held off until the last second then the opportunity stands. They should wait and evaluate whether they have the time and opportunity for a cannon but expect to stand up an I (if they are even able to do that).

Continuation into DT Cannon

Rather than using an I piece on the top left to complete the last T-Spin Double, one can instead use a J and an overhang to transform the remaining shape into a DT Cannon.
Abyss
The Abyss is essentially a Trinity starting off with a T-Spin Mini.

TSD Declined or Approved?
Be cautious on where the overhang is because you may end up with an S or Z-Spin Triple that leads to an L or J-Spin Double instead of a Triple Double after substituting the T-Spin Double with a T-Spin Mini Single.

With Twist bonus available, the result is actually not bad at all.
