Shallow Grave is a setup that mainly utilizes an "L" or a "J" to even out a lopsided shape revealing a T-Spin Double. The first ones below are shown Prophecy style, but it can be used more efficiently mid-game even Non-Prophecy style, which requires little need to look ahead. More details are shown at the bottom of the page, see cremate. This setup is also known as Sharougureivu in Japanese.

This line-clearing technique can also be used to make other things like Fractal, T-Spin Triple and STSD, for example.

• Fractal: this technique is also utilized in Hyper Fractal.

• T-Spin Triple: the below method is called Ice Axe. This can also be applied in STSD, Imperial Cross or Triple Double.

Cremate (Shallow Grave Variation)

This is basically a way to play multiplayer just like Sprint (40L) but with the occasional BtB T-Spin bonus. The setup should not be forced, instead just do Tetrises until one sees a one-step grade pattern at the edge of the Tetris column.

Sometimes one might not find a piece in time build an overhang after setting up the floating block. But as a fallback plan, this easily converts to a 3-wide combo that will open up the tetris column.
