In Puyo Puyo Tetris, the amount of line delay depends on how many you cleared at once. With the exception of Perfect Clears, every line clear has 30 frames of delay, plus an additional delay based on how many you cleared. A single has 5 extra delay, a double and triple get 10, and finally, Tetris and Tetris Plus get 15 extra frames. Doing a T-Spin does not affect line delay. For some odd reason, Perfect Clears have a single frame of line delay.

In most guideline games, soft dropping does nothing but multiply your gravity by 20. In Puyo Puyo Tetris, the game actually always assumes soft drop is held, multiplying the gravity by 20 but then setting it back down if soft drop isn't actually pressed. Soft dropping in Puyo Puyo Tetris is activated the frame you press the key.

Note that you can charge DAS during entry delay. Another note on DAS is that, it's actually set to 10 internally, but is decremented right after to 9. When DAS is decremented to 0, Auto-Repeat happens and your piece moves one tile, and the timer is set back to 1. With this, Auto-Repeat happens every other frame.

While timings don't change depending on game mode, gravity does, which is why soft dropping in Sprint or Ultra is slower than in Solo Arcade.
