- Tetris Company Sued Over Alleged Copyright Infringement
Dan Ackerman, author of the book the Tetris Effect has filed a lawsuit against among others Tetris Company, alleging illegal copying from his work for the making of the Tetris movie.

The The TETR.IO World Championship is an open circuit taking place across 2023. Compete in tournaments hosted by participating communities to gain points. The 64 highest-scoring players at the end of the qualifier stage are invited to the MAIN EVENT in November!

The tournament is divided into 3 stages:
Qualification Stage - May 27 to October 21
Main Event - November 3 to November 11
Finals - November 17 and November 18
