With an I tetromino early in the first bag, one can try a TKI opening, invented by Tetris DS player TKI. Given the right pieces, it allows for three T-Spin Doubles and a T-Spin Triple to finish. This is a good setup since it uses all pieces in a good balance, as well as not wasting their T.
Here is the basic TKI-3 Opener. Beneath are some variations on the setup. Throughout these, however, the basic setup remains the same.

- Three T-Spin Doubles example
- TKI 3 TSD Opening with TST Finish
- Imperial Cross: The fourth diagram is preferred becuase one will have a chance to make a Perfect Clear (89%).
If Perfect Clear is not possible, one may build another T-Spin Double, Imperial Cross or Fractal.

- Perfect Clear after 6 lines: Yet another way to place pieces in the second bag resulting in a chance for a Perfect Clear.
TKI 3 (Flat Top variation)
This way involves placing the J piece upside down on top of the Z piece (there is another way as shown in the first picture).

- Blink SZ Prop: It may also lead to a Perfect Clear after 6 lines (diagram 5) if one can hold the J piece.

If Perfect Clear is not possible, one may make another T-Spin Double like below and then continue with another TSD or 4-wide. Perfect Clear after 10 lines is also possible.
- Imperial Cross: The second diagram is preferred becuase one will have a chance to make a Perfect Clear (98%). The solutions are the same as above.

- Perfect Clear after 8 lines: Although there are other ways, this way is the easiest to memorize because it has three solutions.

Continuations
- Perfect Clear after 6 lines: In the third bag, O or L must come early.
If Perfect Clear is not possible (e.g. O or L came late), one may stack an STSD.
Below is an additonal way. Either I or L should come early in the third bag.
TKI 3 (Snail variation)
Try this variation when the O piece comes late in the first bag.
