• Wertj Releases Joke Music Album about TETR.IO

Titled “The Tetrio Experience”, this album features 10 songs, with genres including lofi, electronic and ballads. Starting with a song about how bad TETR.IO is, the songs also commentate on passthrough, charsys and Tetra League.

This album was created over the course of several months by Wertj, who has been a longtime community member, top Tetris player, and commentator. He cites his experiences in the TETR.IO community as his main motivation for this project.

“For me, osk is a subject of a lot of mystery and kind of a vague personality”, says Wertj. “I wanted to make fun of that to the extreme so that people can be lighthearted about it”.

For his first song, Wertj was rewarded with the “high quality badge” in the official TETR.IO Discord Server. This motivated him to create more songs on various topics until he realized he had enough songs for an album.

According to Wertj, the songs mainly have a basis of drum samples. Layered on top are piano and synthesized sounds, after which lyrics are added.

Even though the album is over half an hour long, Wertj still considers the result to be a joke.“This was more of a side project or a study project”, he says. “I plan on moving to sound design and doing audio for short films next, as well as maybe a serious album drop far into the future.”

• TETR.IO Update Drastically Reduces Disconnect Rate

A major rewrite during Version 6.3.0 has now connected TETR.IO multiplayer to a global network of servers, allowing players to connect to the server closest to them for improved network stability.
