With an I tetromino early in the first bag, you can try a TKI opening, invented by Tetris DS player TKI. Given the right pieces, it allows for three T-Spin Doubles and a T-Spin Triple to finish. This is a good setup since it uses all pieces in a good balance, as well as not wasting your T.
Here is the basic TKI-3 Opener. Beneath are some variations on the setup. Throughout these, however, the basic setup remains the same.

- Imperial Cross: The forth diagram is preferred becuase you will have a chance to make a Perfect Clear (89%).
If Perfect Clear is not possible, one may build another T-Spin Double, Imperial Cross or Fractal.

- Blink SZ Prop: It may also lead to a Perfect Clear after 6 lines (diagram 5) if you can hold the J piece.

If Perfect Clear is not possible, one may make another T-Spin Double like below and then continue with another TSD or 4-wide. A Perfect Clear after 10 lines is also possible.

- Imperial Cross: The second diagram is preferred becuase you will have a chance to make a Perfect Clear (98%). The solutions are the same as above.

- Perfect Clear after 8 lines: Although there are other ways, this way is the easiest to memorize because it has three solutions.
