  • Square One 2023 Concludes
The biggest Tetris Effect: Connected event of the year has finished up, crowning Akashirobo as champion while Uyeshota and Kazu placed second and third respectively. The stream averaged over 400 viewers, and in total Square One raised over $3,500 and donated $1,227 to Trans Lifeline. Moose has stated that Square One 2024 will be a LAN event in Japan held in December.

  • TETR.IO World Championship Announced
As the Square One 2023 stream was coming to an end, Puzzle Kingdom announced the first iteration of the TETR.IO World Championship, which is being held in November. 64 participants will qualify by gaining points based on their placements in officially sanctioned tournaments.

The top 12 ranked players in Tetra League all signed up, but unfortunately Rideris overslept and did not make it. The Team TSD stream of the event peaked at over 1,000 viewers during the grand finals between Czsmall0402 and Diao and the prizepool reached more than $2,100.
