An update from Tetris Friends

From what I have seen Live has no effect. I have noticed this since I first signed on.
It's useful to know if you are trying to build tokens.  I like unlocking all the minos for whatever reason.

I am unsure if you have to wait 24 hours, or If a calendar day must go by without playing that particular mode.

I primely only play sprint, any marathon games I play are in heboris or texmaster.  I need me some TGM:Ti style to play.

1st: Are you from the US or from Europe? I've always been thinking that this problems happens because I'm from Europe (because nobody seems to care to end it).

2nd: I think it's not a calendar day but every 24/48 hours. The calender day works with the daily 30 tokens, I get them every day at 7:00 am (C.E.T. Berlin Paris Zurich), but this "daily bonus for the first game that works only every second day or so", that's often not working on the 2nd day, like just now.

That's the most funny think I've read here in the past month - - but just wait, on Monday at 7am C.E.T. I'm going to buy myself the new mission pack, no matter what it costs, I simply don't care! Just for my own celebration!

5000 quatloos!  I wonder if you can win rubies by completing the premium missions so that it wouldn't be so bad to pay for them up front.  Personally, I don't think the missions are worth paying for, especially if your only reward is a stupid badge you'll never look at.  I would pay for Master mode or faster DAS though.

Including things like faster DAS will tarnish the high level of skill presented in Blink's insane Sprint time. I think its great to have set rules but it excludes those with slow tapping. Having a set standard of rules in which records like his are set shows how great he his and reduces reliance on such features for TFLive, BB, and TOJ.

my LPM on TOJ (on matches in which I don't take 16L garbage in first 20s) has gone up 3-5 lines (to 37 or 38 from 33) since being more consistant with my sub 60s TF Sprint times. my BB time has stalled significantly.

I haven't gotten the first play of the day on Sprint for weeks. So that means its 24 hours from you last game COMPLETION. not start... I'll try running an experiment where as soon as I win my 30 tokens from the day... I'll play my normal games and play N-blox (my least favorite game) last. Then tomorrow I'll play Nblox right after I get it...

I'm sure someone else probably has already done it... or theres always Tetris support.

What I am wondering is if it could potentially be longer then 24 hours you have to wait.

For example Play at 5:00 AM on Monday.  You may not be able to get the first play bonus until Wednesday. It might be that you actually have to skip a day to get it.

Not sure tho...

No. Blink cannot show the full extent of his ability on Tetris Friends. The atrocious autorepeat speeds place an unnecessary limit on a player's ability to perform and introduces the variable of physical execution. Sega realized in 1988 that the autorepeat needs to be specialized for getting the piece to the wall quickly.

@Kitaru: I'm too lazy into the mechanics, I just figured customized settings like that would make it easier for others to catch him.

There are players that are better than Blink at 40 Lines. They can't catch up on Tetris Friends because they don't have the same physical capability when it comes to sustained rapid tapping; they've already beaten him elsewhere.

Techincally everyone who has beaten Blink so far has been yanked off... it is a crime to beat Blink (yea I know they cheated.) Until someone actually manages to stay up there for more than 24-36 hrs I'll take every one to beat him as a crime against Tetris
