I get it like every three games.   I started blocking adds, so it's just a white box that pops up and hangs the screen.  refresh fixes that tho.

Meh, I never cared about advertisements, unless they're really weird and/or perverted and/or invasive

15 second video adds on the internet... but it pays for the game I suppose.
They are probably paying a premium for these hard to skip adds.

QUITE A STIR? All the Rubies did was gathering negative criticism from players

Why should they do that? Sorry to say so, but it's not really a problem to use PayPal or your credit card to pay some $3 or $5 if you want some rubies, is it? It's cheaper than your last meal (I hope)...  

Anyway, I just played a round of Yosumin at nifty.com - - and we can be glad that Tetris Online doesn't show us these kind of ads...

15 Rubies - 2$ ---> 13 Cent per Ruby
50 Rubies - 5$ ---> 10 Cent per Ruby
120 Rubies - 10$ ---> 8 Cent per Ruby
300 Rubies - 20 $ ---> 6.5 Cent per Ruby

I'm having problems with my tokens the past month - usually I only get tokes for the "first game of the day" every second or third day. (The daily 30 tokens bonus works without probems)

But now I haven't been playing for ~4 days, and didn't receive any "first game of the day" bonus either. Does anybody experience the same issue?

Haven't had any issues, but right now the rubies are useless because theres nothing that I want... why buy win sfx and win graphix when I can just throw snowballs at my monitor in own celebration!

yes, every time.  You must not play for a day to get the bonus.  I save 1989 and play it every other day or so, slowly beating my score, then topping out.  I do this with nblock as well as I don't like those modes.

I don't get a daily bonus if  I play everyday, only when I take a day off for that mode will I get the first play of the every other day bonus.

I've never noticed whether it gives the bonus or not.  I wonder if playing Live screws up whether it registers your first play for the other game modes.
