Is anybody else really annoyed by the fact that TF calls them Tetriminos?

tetrimino is what I use because I am a product of TF. its depressing to even say. though I am also something of a mathematician so I might eventually switch to tetromino. tetramino is for artists who dont know any better: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/v...tramino-Falling

i don't see how 'tetramino' is for "artists who don't know any better".
i was a math major/graphics design minor so i suppose i fit under both categories..but upon hearing the word and only hearing it--i thought the spelling to be "tetramino" simply because of the prefix "tetra-"
this is, of course, without the emphasis on the 'o' in "tetrOmino"..which is sometimes made..[/color]
