New Freezer is a 5-bag loop with the pattern of TSM→TSD→TSD→Tetris→Perfect Clear. This setup is discovered and named by a Taiwanese player Octupus Tea. It is named after its resemblance of the shape of the first bag of Old Freezer.
First bag
New Freezer works best with early J and late S.
The setup rate is 51.11% (2576/5040) when counting both patterns and both orientations, and 77.78% (3920/5040) when abandoning TSM.
Second to fourth bag
These three bags can always be stacked like this.
The IJ and ZL shapes in the second bag are interchangeable. The Z in the fourth bag may have to be twisted in.
