The Indie Wiki Jam is an event hosted by Square Enix Independent Wiki Alliance (SEIWA) and Indie Wiki Federation (IWF), held to encourage the use of independent wiki sites.

The purpose of the event is to promote co-operation by inviting editors to contribute to wikis they haven't edited before. The 2024 Indie Wiki Jam will take place from Friday, 12 January, to Friday, 26 January.

When saving an edit, add #IWJ to your edit summary to be counted for the event. It needs to be on a wiki you have not edited before.

Getting started

If you don't have an Hard Drop Tetris Wiki account already, please do so. It is free, and permits the use of more tools for editing.

1. In the top-right corner, find the "Create account" button or click here.
2. Fill in the form with the necessary information and optional information if you feel like doing so.

After creating an account, find an article you want to contribute to, you can find the edit button above the article's content. When saving an edit, add #IWJ to your edit summary to be counted for the event.

How to help

• Expanding stub pages to have more material. Even basic information about releases to complete the infobox would elevate a lot of pages.
• Many templates could stand to be updated to modern coding standards or have a better visual design.
• Add categories to the uncategorized pages.
• Adding in Template:Citation needed to pages that need it, or directly adding in citations themselves.
