That would break the same row ideal but there's no way I could have used my pinky for it.

Why does the same row ideal matter for both hands? I find it quite comfortable to have my left hand at a different height to my right.

The principle is the same as having all the keys on the same row for one hand. Like how a finger on one hand could be stretched or cramped, one arm would be a bit more stretched or cramped depending on your distance from the keyboard. It probably doesn't matter as much as with the fingers but I would have preferred the symmetry of posture.

Rosti_LFC

I dislike symmetry of posture. It feels way too forced and formal, and I prefer to sit at a slight angle anyway.

I_AM_SAND

left shift - soft drop
z - double rotate
x - hold
c - hard drop

left - left
down - counter clockwise rotate
right - right
up - clockwise rotate

Red_Star

SRS games:

left-Numpad 4
right-Numpad 6
rotate left-numpad 5
rotate right-numpad 8
harddrop- F
soft drop-D
hold-S
rotate 360-A

For ARS- I just WASD for like it was a joystick and UIO/JKL like it were arcade buttons.

left hand-
q- hold
w- rotate right
e- double rotate
r- rotate left
left alt- soft drop

right hand-
u- move left
i- hard drop
o- move right

left hand is already in a default alt+r position for blockbox, lol

GoldPlatedDish

Before that, I used the TF default controls.

Now I'm comfortable with those:

Move Tetrimino left - A
Move Tetrimino right - D
Soft Drop - S
Hard Drop - W
Rotate CW - Spacebar
Rotate CCW - Right Alt
Hold - N

SpawN

My controls are:

Left hand:
hard drop-space bar

right hand:
move left-left arrow
move right-right arrow
Rotate CW- up arrow
Rotate CCW- down arrow
soft drop- right shift
hold- right control

I might switch the last 2 for the left hand, but for now I`m comfortable that way.

right hand:
left arrow: left
right arrow: right
down arrow: soft drop

left hand:
y/z: ccw rotate
x: cw rotate
d: double rotate
c: hold
space: hard drop

I'd like to change hard drop to arrow up or down or something, since thumb on spacebar is not too fast.
but I'm just too used to it atm, and you need the key in a fast rythm all the time, so a strong finger for it

What keyboard do yo use?!?!

left arror: left
right arrow:right
up=sonic drop for ars, hard drop for SRS
down=soft drop

z/c=ccw
x=cw
space=hold
v=180 rotate, in wacko rotation systems that have it like SRS-X

Oops, duh, yeah, AZERTY wouldn't have made sense -- the Y is still in the top row!
