Wow that was...Original!

I thought it would be a bland old dig race style tetris game but was pleasantly surprised!

Overall: 8/10

Graphics: amazing, loved the polished  look of everything
Gameplay: amazing, the click style was original and again, polished
Game Modes:for me it was'nt great, maby a sprint mode or even a basic tetris mode with the click style added..something?
Tutorial: not great, half the time I was confused on what was happening as there was no clear sign of what was what because of all the text ect.

I havn't spent ages on this little review, it's just what i think after 5 mins fo playing


Overall: A good game, will play it regularily

i can't place the piece whever i want. this is very annoying. I know this is targeted towards casual players but i'm sure they too can think of good placements that are better than those provided.

There is keyboard controls. Just start using it and the choices will disappear!

can we change controls? How does the piece sequence work? it appeared to keep generating the pieces I always needed to downstack. also I had the perfect 7 item and twice it wanted me to do a weird not obvious twist to get a piece into place. I failed miserably at it.

it's very cute, although yeah it's obviously geared toward more casual players, but that doesn't make it bad

the voice is a little funny (actually, hilarious) but you know whatever

my one gripe is that although keyboard controls are available, it isn't made known at the beginning of the game (to players who might be confused about how to not use mouse controls)

also, you cant change the keyboard controls

with those things fixed i think this could be a decent new facebook tetris game

(so long as there isnt any lag like the other one)

pretty neat game. The mouse input method is quite refreshing.

I don't think you can change controls atm.

You can turn off the piece placement hints by clicking on the mouse looking icon.  i think its better without it.

So far my highscore is 665,560 with the mouse.

i don't use right hand for rotate so i don't like the keyboard method actually

Haha, tutorial was extremely confusing. I don't think such simple game require tutorial in first place, but really, but it should be optional at least, and it should be more obvious you are in tutorial mode and have to click what they tell you. for example i was confused why i can't click to start new game, and it took me a while to figure out that i am still in tutorial (it lasts for multiple games, which is also wierd) and need to click somewhere else.

I was not aware you can play with keyboard, until you said so, so this is another confusing part. Graphics and sounds are very nice, far better than tetris friends and tetris battle, but sadly it lags more too (when playing with keyboard). I keep getting our of energy or out of coins. I'm not retarded enough to pay for all those coins and energy, sorry.

Gameplay is very similiar to Tetris Star on Yahoo Japan (but i like this version bit better). Shortest description of this game would be: it's bejeweled blitz with tetris theme.

I really like the feel, pace and and sfx in the game. The only thing that I'm "waiting on" is custom keyboard controls. Once that's in there I'll be playing this quite a bit.

I appreciate xp gain being tied to performance.
Also, the missions will be a good alternative to measure progress against friends. My best is 778k at the moment.

EDIT: Wow Lucky 7 really blows the top off of things in terms of huge action for little effort. I got 1,160,350, hahaha.

game is kinda luck dependant.

doesnt require too much skill

i love the graphics
and how smooth it is
but when playing with keyboard you cant go anywhere near the speed of mouse.

Loving the sound effects, props to the guy who made them.   The graphics look clean too.  It's a pretty fun game to kill time when bored, but nothing serious.

Btw, 1,341,295. Apparently there are keyboard controls and Hold in this game? This is news to me. Realtalk I don't know why you'd want to use keyboard controls when the game will basically play itself for you like a TAS robot. I suppose you can rotate during Lucky 7 to make it do twists? Hardly necessary thus far.

EDIT: Oh haha you get drop points for playing like a real person. Well, there is that, I suppose.

Nice that there's a dig race style game out there now - I hope that a real dig race will appear soon on tetrisbattle.com which isn't items based and has 100% garbage change.
