While were talking about this stuff, I think the game would actually be more strategically interesting if you got rid of the die altogether. Picking your Tetrimino for every turn would give players far more options and lead to not only more strategic depth, but it would also take out the luck element, which can be brutal sometimes.

Btw, I'm also against changing the rules for this current game.
