Cheers for the comments, guys.  I must have played hundreds of games over the last few days, most of which have been with restarts!

I have only been practicing hard at the ST stacking for the last few days and I have run into a few problems I need advice on:

[!--ImageUrlBegin--][a href=\\\"http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/2041/example1k.jpg\\\" target=\\\"_new\\\"][!--ImageUrlEBegin--][!--ImageUrlEnd--][/a][!--ImageUrlEEnd--]

^ You'll see here that I have two red pieces, why has this happened and what do I do about it?

[!--ImageUrlBegin--][a href=\\\"http://img3.imageshack.us/img3/9087/example2qd.jpg\\\" target=\\\"_new\\\"][!--ImageUrlEBegin--][!--ImageUrlEnd--][/a][!--ImageUrlEEnd--]

^ Again I have two green pieces, why is this happening?

[!--ImageUrlBegin--][a href=\\\"http://img101.imageshack.us/img101/5954/example3h.jpg\\\" target=\\\"_new\\\"][!--ImageUrlEBegin--][!--ImageUrlEnd--][/a][!--ImageUrlEEnd--]

^ In this example I have just held the green S piece and I have a T piece which I can't really do anything with.  Is there anything that I could do in this situation apart from a restart?

The massi4h TST thing is pretty amazing.  I think I'm gonna have to learn that sequence.  It actually looks quite easy but so does ST stacking lol.

Two of your problems are due to your opening piece selection, one is due to leading with the wrong piece, all of which is addressed in flamewheel's guide, which makes me think you still haven't read it.

I have read Flamewheel's guide.  If you look at the first picture I have used two purple T-pieces, like Flamewheel suggests.  I had already made two t-spin slots, like Flamewheel's guide.

In the second picture I had already got a number of T-spins up until I took the screen shot so things were going OK.

Yes, I have read Flamewheel's guide.

I see, my mistake. In that case, you must've missed where he recommends putting a Z in the left stack as well as the two T's when doing the opening (your problem with your first and third picture). And you must've missed the part where he explains "leading" with L or S (your problem with your second picture).

Dude, I have two T's in the opening stack on the first picture.  So you have to put a Z on the left stack before you place it on the right?

I'm sorry, but if you're not going to take the time to completely read the guide (something I've asked you to do twice), why should I spend my time explaining things that are in there already? What you're asking is in the guide Please read it thoroughly and completely.

In the top picture you should have gotten one of the red pieces down before the two top blue ones and there would have been no probelms,
Second picture you have used a green and a orange to the left while droping a light blue on the right side, I do belive you could have used that light blue piece in the left side.
Third picture: like all the others it is difficult to know how you should have done it since I didnt know in what order they came but for one you must leave a spot for two T's somewhere at the start which you havent done there.

Videos are better than pictures too - cant really help much with only a picture..

You'll see here that I have two red pieces, why has this happened and what do I do about it?
I'm glad to hear that you are improving and practicing so much but please be more considerate of Caffeine's feedback as it's a relative honor to receive feedback from someone on that level. And as far as these pictures, playing a game mode with a more extensive piece preview would allow for more meaningful solutions on our part.
