nah change on each attack = TOJ.

change on add = TF.

It might be that he implemented "change on attack" as "pick a random column on attack", which isn't strictly true.

Chopin: Your I-spin fails because the twist isn't blocked off far enough up (you have to block the up kick before the down kick works).

In your S-spin examples, one is a mini because it kicks, the other is a single because it does not.

Note on simultaneous turns: Garbage should not cancel each other out "in transit" or the game will be really slow (and basically equivalent to being able to cancel garbage throughout your turn even if you drop a piece that doesn't clear a line)

"Classic" turn-based would be interesting to retain as an option, either for handicapping or strategic purposes

Jenn: The reason you got an invalid bag is because DrPete decided to deal with hold by adding a random piece to your sequence, thus allowing each turn to be strictly a new bag. I don't know if he plans to change that, but I think it would be wise, and besides if other numbers of moves-per-turn are eventually allowed it won't make much sense.

Disclaimer: I don't actually know if TOJ style is 100% change rate, but I would prefer that for "change on attack" mode. An easy way to implement this is to choose the random number between 1 and 9 (instead of 1 and 10), and increment it by 1 if it is >= the current hole (this is what I did in Nullpomino).

Wish more people would challenge me.

Need option to forfeit

A "claim victory" option was just added for games where your opponent hasn't done anything in over a week.

This is so you can see updates to the page or if you place a piece incorrectly. It saves you some hassle from refreshing.

Blink

For convenience - http://www.harddrop.com/kos now redirects to Dr. Pete's KOS game.

you could make such awesome tetriart with that
very nice SST btw

this game is great training for playing with all spins in real time. it is King of Spinners, but i don't see how else turn-based tetris could work. without spins, combos would be overpowered. and if you took away combos as well then games would go on forever, unless tetrises and T-spins were made more powerful (but then 2 T-spins and a tetris in one turn could be insta-kill).

Kitaru

Two optional features I want to see:
+Back-to-back hole generated in a separate column from the rest of the attack
+TGM's strategic garbage -- 0/2/3/4, no spins, but the pattern of the garbage sent is made from the rows you cleared minus the piece used to clear them and then flipped upside-down.

To be honest, I think that B2B hole being in a separate column in KoS 'Change on Attack' will be way too strong. It's pretty good how it is now. Maybe the combo is still a bit strong but that's all.
