QuoteLike many setups here, it is useful if your opponent doesn't move and you get 4 Ts in a row.

not too well, or really ever.  I might one day... If and when i maxout NES... well, I'll say when  but after that and after August, i may try new things... then after months of practice i may post something worth a sh** in one of those... I gather TGM is the most popular these days?

Popular? Golly I wish. :) A well-respected single player challenge? Yes. Popular? No, not especially. :< Most will probably tell you "the hot thing" is multiplayer versus, and "the games to play" in that department right now are probably Tetris Online Japan and Nullpomino.

At any rate, TGM is definitely one of the best Tetris games out there. I highly recommend checking it out.

Seconded! TGM/clones/TOJ/Nullpomino are all great. There are so many nice Tetris games today.

TGM doesn't look too impressive if the player isn't that good, but I'll say that it always looks fun.

If you're new to either TGM or multiplayer, you'll find any top players' videos to be impressive. This was the case for me when I first watched 'invisible Tetris' and 'Blink vs SAMAF'. However, after playing both types of games, I can say that watching multiplayer videos gets old quickly for me. On the other hand, I enjoy and appreciate the TGM videos more and more after playing the game for a while.

Note that I'm only talking about watching videos. Both TGM and multiplayer are fun, and I'll play whichever one depending on the mood.
