There is already a TF tournament going on here.

We can't honor every tournament that someone wants to start. TF Live was designed for casual players who want to play casual multiplayer tetris, thus, it is not competitve worthy at all -- and not only that but it is still in beta development stage.

if he wants to host a tournament on TF let him.  I did and it went fine, if it's not competitive enough for you then don't enter it.  If he doesn't get enough entrants then it will fail, but atleast he was allowed to try.
