Playing with a steering wheel

My setup:
Steer counterclockwise - move left
Steer clockwise - move right
Left turn signal - rotate counterclockwise
Right turn signal - rotate clockwise
Brakes pedal - hold
Gas pedal - drop
Honk horn - use item

There is an option that you change gears:
hard drop / sonic drop / soft drop

all of those controls seem appropriate. i especially like the horn for using an item

does drop speed change depending on how hard you press the gas?  is there a non locking drop?

The hard drop uses the highest gear, the second highest gear can be the sonic/soft drop.
