Joystick or Keyboard?

I saw KevinDDR playing Tetris with a joystick yesterday and he was pretty fast. Which do you prefer when playing Tetris? Why do you like it more?

i use both, but i had to go with keyboard. it feels a lot more comfortable and faster for me, especially in low gravity tetris.

gamepad would be a good third option for the poll. there are a lot of people that play console and handheld games exclusively.

i prefer the balance board

i only play with keyboard, in consequents vote for the last point.

best keyboardmanufactor ist "kirsche", but this is not the theme here.

I started out on a gamepad but eventually moved over to the keyboard. I just love the keyboard's versatility across many different games.

I've been recommended to try out a stick by a few, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. It's definitely a lot more specialized for TGM style games.

keyboard for me, although i really really want to learn joystick for fighting games. I tried , but I suck and my left arm gets tired fast doing quick movements.

Joystick is fun, and can be useful for TAP and Ti, but keyboard is easily faster than anything else.

I don't get why people use gamepads - they're slow and they cause long-term damage to your hands.

only a joystick.

the keyboard gives me issues in my shoulder as does a game-pad. the game pad isn't so bad, but the keyboard is awful for me. three games of 40 lines and I need a week to recover.

the joystick is just plain fun.

yeah, mines sanwa.. and bluetooth! works great with my laptop.. cords are so 2000

I use mainly the keyboard for speed, but I had to vote Joystick. Keyboard is nice and all, but when I need to 5P->j.i.->2H->22H->j.k->j.S->j.k->Double jump->j.k->j.k my T block into the corner I can't be using some piece of junk keyboard. Seriously though I would prefer joystick for TGM games, but I enjoy Keyboard for 0g tetris.

I wish I had a joystick for the computer, I have a Hori Wii fighting stick, but the using bluetooth with it seems to give me a good deal of lag input. I was surprised to see someone in this thread can use it. I might need to try the buletooth dongle again on my newer computer.
