Recently a very important person in my life who introduced me to tetris and got me through a lot of hard times as a child passed away. I was thinking of getting a tattoo of maybe a T block with his initials (J.S.) in it, but don't know about the design.

Is there any artists or creative people that are willing to help me sketch a design for me? It would really mean the world to me.
thanks,
Thazzle

How about a J and an S

this. especially if there was a specific version that you were introduced to. for example:

i really like the js in blocks idea! Is the picture above the NES version? i forgot what it looks like

Kitaru

Those block graphics are from the Game Boy version.

May I also suggest tilting the S-piece such that it more closely resembles the appearance of the letter? I'm envisioning something mostly upright, but not quite your standard 90 degree Tetris rotation.

May I also recommend slanting the S-piece such that it more carefully appears like the overall look of the letter? I'm picturing something mostly erect, but not quite your conventional 90 level Tetris spinning.

QuoteLike many setups here, it is useful if your opponent doesn't move and you get 4 Ts in a row.

The version thazzle had in mind was NES. After seeing the NES sprites, thazzle came up with this monochrome design:

Hope to see a pic of the real thing.
