Not quite. You can outplay a player faster than you by throwing a bunch of garbage at them when they have nothing to counter/block with.

I probably won 3/30 of my games against KiIIabee. Assuming bee just didn't afk on me I it appeared to be because I spiked at a lucky time (she likes to 4wide to the side).

One of the only universal principles of martial arts is to do the right thing at the right time. But watching an opponent's screen has its own cost, so having perfect timing in tetris always seems to slow down your own total lines generated as well as increase your own misdrop frequency.
