Is there a way to play a partially invisible game like the bonus stage of tetrisfriends survival (minos repeatedly switch between visible and invisible) without having to go through all the earlier stages? I couldn't find it in nullpomino practise.

Any advice on learning to play with invisible pieces?

On nullpo, you can use marathon+ mode and set the starting level to 21 for semi invisible games.

This guide by Larry isn't really about invisible play (great guide on efficiency btw), but he did mention it and how you can start. Sounds pretty much like what you are trying to do: start off with semi invisible and move to full invisible when you feel comfortable.

What about S?

Should just be the other way around.

If you didn't know, Fumen has buttons to move and rotate("< V ^ > ( ) ~" ). You can use them to play around with the piece and see for yourself.

Tetris / Advanced tips for Arena?

How does garbage even work in arena. like sometimes i get like 15 in a column, and other times its all over the place. I qq the most when i perfect clear and instead of insta ko'ing them, i get sent a double t spin and two-three tetrises in the next 10 sescs lol, (due to the 10ish lines in a column)

In e and e+ rooms the garbage hole changes on every attack so if you do a pc sending 10 lines in one go your opponent will get 10 lines of straight garbage. Thats why pc isnt a good opener against good players because they can easily send them all back to you.

Learn tspins and work on your downstacking if you want to get better in arena.

Tetris / T-spin Single/Mini recognition in TOJ/TOP
July 24, 2013, 02:03:15 AM

I think that is how guideline works, since it's the case in TF too.

Quote from: farter

when a T-single occurs, if the one on the middle of the back side is occupied, it's a T-mini, otherwise T-single.

I interpret it as this: If you clear one line with a t-spin that CAN be done without kicks, you get a t-spin single anyway no matter it kicked or not.

I guess the reason behind this is that if you are too strict, you will end up getting t-spin minis from doing that

(which is the case in KoS btw)
