Marathon

A standard marathon mode. Get to level 15 and rack up as many points as you can. Level increases when clearing 10 lines.

Endless

Go as high as level 30 and keep clearing lines as long as possible. 20G gameplay starts at level 20 and lock delay decreases on level 21+.

Ultra

Get your highest score before time runs out in this three-minute ultra mode.

Sprint

Clear 40 lines as quickly as you can.

Battle

Go head-to-head to knock out your opponents.

Power-Up Battle

Be the last person playing after using crazy power-ups! This mode is the same as Battle, except it has the following items:

  • Hip to Be Square - next four pieces will be O tetrominoes
  • Carousel - for 13 seconds the field will shift to the left after each move
  • Let it Rain - drops 10 random garbage blocks from above
  • Haunted Well - field becomes invisible until four pieces are dropped
  • Buzz Saw - defensive power-up that cuts away three of your unfinished lines

3DS-exclusive Modes

Master

Pieces drop instantly and appear at the bottom.

Rotation Lock

Orientation of the pieces are random. Rotation is disabled for this mode.

Escalation

Clear more lines as the game levels up.

Invisible

Pieces become invisible as they drop to the bottom.
