An STMB Cave is a floating T-Spin Double setup. It is typically created over a 3-wide gap using an S or Z piece as its base.

Variants, Other Uses, and Comparisons
- One can build STMB Caves to extend above other T-Spin Doubles already on the field.
- One can also make an STMB Cave on top of another STMB Cave.
- Even without S/Z, an STMB Cave could still be made by using other pieces. Commonly L, J and I. Can also be done using T, but it is mostly ineffective since a single T is wasted in the process.
- Other than 3 columns wide holes, this technique could also be done on 5 and 7 columns wide holes. Only few people named it Yakine Variant after the player Yakine made the video about him making a 7-wide STMB Cave.
- A T-Spin Triple overhang could be used as an STMB Cave base. This is not recommended if the T-Spin Triple is done.
- An STMB Cave could be used along with Donation T-Spin Double for effective usage of pieces. As similarly seen in the Pelican Opener shown.
- It is moderately hard to spot the opportunity, but one could make a T-Spin Double cut T-Spin Double by using STMB Cave. One can also cut more than a one T-Spin Double. This technique is named Bennxt Prop, named after the player who first introduced it.
