A Shadow Blade is a specific build order for a T-Spin overhang, where one places the outer part (often J/L) first, and later soft drops the inner part (often Z/S) to finish the overhang.

Advanced

• This can be used to make a T-Spin Triple overhang.

• It does not always have to be the overhang; it could be the other side. This is useful if the pieces come in the wrong order.

In the example below, the player wanted a lot of firepower by making a T-Spin Double and a Back-to-Back Tetris, but they cannot use the hold because they need the I piece and the pieces came in wrong order. With the Shadow Blade technique, they can make a T-Spin Double by placing the J and S piece, slide in the Z piece and spin in the L, and finally, they can make the T-Spin Double and Tetris.
