Could it be any lamer around here? No tournaments, no competitions, no trash talk between the supposed clans. Feels like I'm on tetrisconcept website. When will the day come when you all quit going solo, team rivalries become really strong, and teams start having their own official websites...? When will you all be centered on one game only and not spread across 4 different games? This HD scene is looking pretty dead when I know it could be a lot more.

I think the case is that nobody talks sh** or makes any enemies, giving them no incentive to compete or in some cases to even improve. I think your balls fell off people. Back in tnet2 days everyone was fighting and raising hell with somebody, and there was even more than that on the tnet1 days before my time which amounted to more drama and more fun. Who's gonna raise some hell with me and risk getting banned a few times? For the sake of HD?

There needs to be about 4 or 5 more of me on here with some passion for this game.

We need a good TGM multiplayer game that doesn't eat inputs.

We need a good TGM player that doesn't TAS.

>request TGM multiplayer i.e non-TASable
>YOU TAS

Bit of a logic failure there?

I guess one could include botting in some rough definition of tool-assistance.

I'm pretty sure that was more of a directed statement than you interpreted it.

If there were members in Florida who could vouch for me I'd do a meet. Closest TGM meet I've heard of is Washington though.

If any team want a personal website I'm more than happy to try and set stuff up for them, although this won't be free if you want a personalised domain name. Also it takes me a while to roll out desired features.

I've also setup personal team forums. Anyone who wants one has only to ask me and provide me with a list of their team members.

Haha!

But I agree with what you are saying to some degree.

Pennsylvania?

Anyway, getting someone to vouch for your current ability doesn't really do anything for the unbelievability of your old record, but this is starting to get off-topic.

For once I agree with what Corro says in the main. The way to revive this is to have teams where people care, and to have tournaments on one game, to try to unify tetris

This the part that I disagree with, in the sense that there isn't one "true" or "best" set of rules for Tetris. I think things are already too homogenous as it is in that respect.

I agree too,
this is the most dead I've seen it ever since I started playing.
Also agree with Paul, people being over lots of different games doesn't help because there aren't that many players in the first place.

aren't we all just waiting for the new nullpomino to rejuvenate interest? i know i am

I've been playing on TF again this week and either two things have happened:

a) the quality of players has drastically improved.
b) the quality of my play has drastically dropped.
c) tf has changed how e+ works.

I'm seeing a lot more 120+ line games. Sometimes by two or three players.

ohitsstef

tetris isn't a competitive game to start with.

but if you guys want a tournament, someone should organize one.. if someone has the time and patience.

i'm starting to enjoy TF... lawls noogy.
