Darn, so yesterday I was playing some Ultra on the Tetrisfriends Facebook application.

So I kind of set a new high score (66153) which pushed me from like 5 to 1...
And this morning I wake up to find ALL my scores deleted.  Not just the Ultra.  You'd think the moderators would know, at this point, who is cheating and who is not...

Well I mean I sent the developer a short query, so let's see if anything happens.

Sucks!  I'm wondering what the probability is they're so used to people cheating on Sprint that they might erase Blink's new record by mistake.

All moderators can do is to watch replay and person's profile/history and believe it or not. I think lot of accepted entries from top 100 in sprint and ultra are actually cheaters.

flamewheel91, maybe you should record video, like blink did: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AHTO5PxCr98 .

I'm thinking about it.  Furthermore, anybody who questions my legitimacy can watch me in Live if they want to see.

silly roommate your scores are too high that they don't think their body can take it! (... in America!)

ahem anyways yeah they better put that score back. i want to watch your replay lol... also I should probably break 64 soon

flamewheel91

I'm going to be making a video today.
I hope this will silence all my accusers.

Nobody is accusing you here. Problem is there is no way to know if TF score is real or not. If you are best Ultra player and TF removed your scores, it sucks.

I never saw anything in the replays that made me suspect anything wasn't legitimate with them.  They should have to have evidence of cheating before removing a player's records.  They did remove a player's Marathon score once just because he soft dropped all his pieces before using hold to get more soft drop points, and that didn't seem fair to remove his game just because he took advantage of their stupid scoring system.

Well done. When people call you a cheater, it means you're good (unless you're counting cards, then it means you're need to be more discreet). So when TTC removes your scores, take it as a complement.  =]

flamewheel91

Hmm... I guess so, haven't really thought about it like that.
I always thought imitation was the highest form of flattery haha.

Yeah but when the scores are removed... it's not like they can be replaced, can they?

iphys

I assume you've sent mail to their support.  Let us know what the response ends up being.

If they think soft dropping before hold is cheating, they might think ST stacking is cheating.
