Hard Drop proudly presents the Hard Drop Open II.  Do you have what it takes to compete at the highest level?  Are you worthy of having your name mentioned amongst the best players in the world?  Prove it.

This is for anyone to enter, regardless of skill level.  If you're a novice, come see what it's like to play with the top players.  So start practicing, and get ready to battle it out with the most confident and crafty players in the world.

Regular season has ended! Playoffs have started!!

Rules:  You have until November 14th@ 11:59PM PST to enter.  This tournament starts on November 15th and is held on the Tetris Friends Live beta, if you don't have an account yet you can register for free at http://www.tetrisfriends.com/users/beta_signup.php .   Players who have not played a single match by November 24th will be dropped from the tournament.  The tournament will end no later than January 31st.  The deadline to have your matches counted for the playoffs is December 22nd.  Use the "TEST_r03_v01" Test room code settings, First to 10 (win by 2) is the winner.  Play as many opponents as possible in order to receive more points.  There are no divisions between skill and anyone can play anyone else.

Scoring:  The scoring system is simple, you will be awarded 4 points for a shutout win (10-0), 3 points for a win, and 1 point for a loss.  In the event of ties in the leaderboard, the player with the better rounds won/lost ratio will receive higher seeding, so don't forget to also include the score when reporting match results.  At the end of the Hard Drop Open II, the top 16 players will advance to a short single elimination Pro tournament based on their seedings and only ONE player will be crowned as Hard Drop's Open II Champion.

Match Scheduling: Matches can easily be scheduled using the live shoutbox on the main page, the TF lobby, or HardDrop's PM system.

Prize: Along with the title of Hard Drop Champion for first place, the top 3 finishers will also be rewarded Gold, Silver, and Bronze trophies by their names in the forums.  The top 16 players will also receive a username@harddrop.com e-mail address that will forward e-mails to their own e-mail address.

Regular Season will start on November 15th, PLAYOFFS start December 22nd.

Play your opponent whenever possible.

I'm in, sounds like fun and TF has better garbage rules then Blockbox (at least I think it included combo garbage)
