Tetris Party Deluxe is an official Tetris game for Nintendo Wii and DS.
Gameplay Details
- ARE: Yes (about 7 frames in normal modes, about 17 frames in Beginner modes, and variable in Master mode)
- Initial actions (IRS,IHS): No
- T-Spin detection: All twists (except for I, O, and other small pieces) are recognized
- Combo bonus: Yes
- Bravo bonus: Yes, called "All Clear"
- Soft drop speed: Native * 20
- In multi-player modes, players do not receive same sequence of pieces.
Single Player Modes

- "Penalty" option allows you to select where garbages appear from. If "Slide" is selected, garbages will appear on the same row that the line(s) were cleared on. The position of hole is still random though.
- "Map" option has added, just like TOJ and TF. When turned on, pattern of blocks will appear in the playfield. However, you can't select which map will appear, and unlike TOJ and TF, you can't select the type of map(T-Spin, Combo, etc).
- The in-game description says "Try to beat the computer in the shortest time possible", but the best time is not recorded.
Field Climber
Help a small little man (the climber) to climb your tower of tetrimino's to the goal line (or keep climbing when Everest is on).
Shadow
Fill in a design in the matrix using standard and non standard tetrimino's shapes include video game characters and fruit. You can create your own puzzles in this mode. Up to 5 levels (20 in Wii version) can be saved.
Stage Racer
Guide a tetrimino through a course rotating it and try to reach the goal at the bottom as fast as you can. If "Abyss" option is enabled, the game continues until the tetrimino pushed out from visible portion of playfield.
Sprint
Well-known 40 lines game. Level is not selectable and fixed to 1.
Master
20G version of Marathon mode.
Bombliss
The player must use bomb pieces to clear nearby blocks. This time, however, only Contest mode is available.
The player goes through stages with layouts of blocks, trying to clear the entire playfield to move on to the next stage. At the start of each stage, the player has 100 points. For each piece that enters the playfield, 1 point is lost. If the player runs out of points, the game ends. Unlike previous Bombliss games such as Tetris Blast, there is no way to get points back; 1 point is still lost when a large bomb is created, and no points are awarded for large number of line clears.

Beginner's Marathon
Marathon mode with small playfield and small and simple pieces. The game ends after 150 lines (or until you die when endless option is on). 2 types of pieces can be selected. When "EASY" is used, only 4 pieces (I2, I3, L3, O) will appear. When "NORMAL" is used, 6 pieces (all easy pieces + I and T) will appear. Gravity reaches 10G in this mode.
All Clear Sprint
Try to clear the entire field (called All Clear) 20 times in shortest time possible. Level is not selectable and fixed to 1. You can't select the type of pieces.(EASY only)
Wii Balance Board Modes (Wii only)
Play tetris using only your feet on the wii balance board very similar to beginners tetris. There are three modes: Marathon, Ultra, and Computer Battle.
Local Multiplayer Modes
All of these game modes can be played against CPU(s) in Wii version (as in original Tetris Party). DS version, however, cannot do that. Even the download play option is limited.
