Not sure if it's worthy. I really like the pick/ban phase but I have a big problem with the selection of games/rulesets:
  • There are 4 guideline games. It should be 3. Let's say one player is better at guideline than the other by a sufficient margin, then it's a guaranteed victory for that player. The other player can only ban 2 guideline games and it's still 2 guideline games left for the 3 played games. Thus guaranteed victory.
  • 6 of the 7 games are using the hold feature. I can't be the only one who hates hold. I think guideline works best for those rulesets with hold.
  • Tetrinet2 and Blockbox are just bad rules in my opinion. 12-wide matrix and pieces spawning in random orientations, seriously? Blockbox is about stacking Tetrises on the wall, and that's very trivial with the use of hold and an easy randomizer. The faster Tetris stacker wins. The garbage is to messy to downstack efficiently, and your garbage output will decrease significantly because you will lose back-to-back bonus and combos aren't rewarded as compensation.
  • Speed triumphs - Cultris2, Jstris, Blockbox, WorldWide Combos are super fast games and if you can play 20 % faster than your opponent, then it's a guaranteed victory.
It's interesting that there's no Tetris Online Poland. That shouldn't be a criticism point, just a remark because there are barely any Tetris Online Poland tournaments on HardDrop.

I can't be the only one who is just waiting for a multiplayer game that doesn't use hold and where the objective is to clear multiple lines at once (RIP Multris). Cultris 2 is the only game without hold and you have to go for Singles there. One could have done so much with Jstris presets.
