Over the last couple months I've been working on my own Tetris clone by myself for fun.  I'm mainly doing it to get some coding experience and I've not had much formal experience.  The source code is available but be warned it's a bit messy and I've barely commented any of it.  The other reason is that I want to learn about how the game works by making my own version.  There's only so much I can glean from the wiki, though, so I would appreciate feedback and maybe even assistance.

What makes ARST stand out from other games is that I'm trying to replicate the visual style and customizability of Tetris Friends.  The themes are built ground-up to be modular, and while it's a bit difficult right now to add more, I hope to make it easier in the future and maybe even have a written guide.

Features:
  • Basic falling block game features which aim to follow the Tetris Guideline
  • Five gamemodes: Marathon, Line Clear, Ultra, Cheese (dig challenge), Local Versus
  • Theme inspired by Tetris Friends, which includes connected mino sprites
  • Modular theme system so the game can be modded
  • Menu system with customizable controls and tuning
Known bugs:
  • Falling speed is somewhat skewed by drop speed

Sure thing!  Sorry it looks so awkward, I'm a very casual player

It looks really nice and polished, gonna give it a try.

Edit: I like how it plays, smooth and precise! Keep updating us
