In my research for more knowledge on Perfect Clears, I can't seem to figure out some of the best ways to build, 6x4 blocks with the typical 7-piece bag system. I have found myself a few times in the position of missing a 6x4 gap in my matrix on King of Stackers. Also, is this a problem I should be encountering?

Here are a few quick ideas as a jumping off point:

We can also join two 3x4s:

Kitaru

To put into words one of the properties demonstrated in caffeine's diagrams, I think you're going to run into parity issues unless you have at least one duplicate piece.

Yeah I guess one of the take aways is that if you try for the non-standard PC opener where you put down a horizontal L/J with a vertical S/Z up against the wall, then you're betting on getting an S, Z, or T as one of the first 3 pieces of the next bag.

Thank you for your help, I feel like I build a brick 4x4, and then hope I can get it with the next 6 + hold pieces. one thing I noticed was the need for an I piece or 2 t pieces, without that I guess you can't get a 6x4

3x4 can include ztj (clearing a row), thus if you made a lsl 3x4 that would work without I or 2 t's

Here's a document I started in Dec 2014:
Shuey's Perfect Clear Collection

This sheet is part of a Google workbook, and I've never shared anything from it (until today).

As you can see, I've not had the time to work on it much since it was first created (I've not fully verified if all of the 4x4 solutions have been found, and I've barely started the 4x5 section).

If anyone has any feedback or info about solutions I'm missing (from the 1x4 to 4x4 solutions), let me know

I noticed on the 4x4's you are missing ZZJL and SSJL and JLSZ and possibly iterations of those

Thanks!  I just noticed I was missing JSSJ (+ JSJS) and LZZL (+ LZLZ), so I added those.

I'm not seeing how a ZZJL and SSJL would be possible :-S... Can you show me a fumen mockup?  I'm also not seeing how to pull off a JLSZ... Can you do a fumen of that one as well?

I also noticed there is 2 different ways to do each of the 4x4 J's and L's

also a lot of the 4x5 permutations that are just 4x2 and 4x3 together, you may want to just consider not having those there; like everywhere you have double O's it can be substituted for double I's, L's, J's

Very nice work!  I can't believe I didn't spot those before!  The sheet's been updated - let me know if I missed anything, and keep me posted if you find others!

I don't know if you want to include 180 spins but there is this 4x5 t case (and it's mirror)

looking at the SSJL reminded me that TTJL works in the same shape different to the other TTJL
