Is there any way to set up the polls so that we can vote in one and not the other? E.g. I'd like to vote for AOTM, but the POTM is rather close this month, and I don't think any really deserves it over the others, so I'd like to abstain from that poll.

That's a good question... but I'm not sure of the answer. I was actually hoping AOTM and POTM would be 2 separate poll threads :T maybe next month.

Bump. I'll make 2 different poll threads next month, even though I think it's less convenient to navigate. I was thinking that the forum source allows to vote on only one question if needed, but seems like it doesn't.

I agree that returning to Tetris it not exactly a legitimate reason to be nominated, but it's not like I did absolutely nothing this month...

I hear ya Jono, my achievement got nerfted as well, I went from 16 to 20 in one day, with no items or  boosters, but yeah anyways , dota really deserves this win.

I don't see how your achievement got "nerfted"

and people have the right to vote for the user they think had the best achievement :T I don't think it's fair for you or anyone else to say "I don't see how this achievement is as good as another's."
