Redesign sneak peek and planned upcoming features

My brother hasn't worked on the site much (and none in the past 2 months), but his schedule is going to free up in April so we should see some real progress then.  Here's a little preview of how things look right now, he hasn't spent much time on it yet.

As you can see there's going to be a shift towards more attention to streaming.

Not limited to only appearance and layout, there is a plan to update the current forum software to something more modern with more features like rating of posts.  Not sure when that will be completed though, it takes a lot of work to move all the data over.

Also I have something interesting in mind that should help new members and players trying to get strategy/techniques/t-spin knowledge that I feel will be a good companion tool to go alongside the wiki.

So yep, there's a lot of improvements planned for HD in 2013

We won't, in fact that's something I want improved and made more useful/prominent as well.  It's removed in the screenshot because my brother and I agreed to do away with the current buggy records page in place for a better one down the line.

The forum software change comes after the initial redesign pizza, you won't be able to see it right now because it doesn't exist yet.

I agree the black color concept is a bit daunting. I really do enjoy the clean eco-friendly color scheme going on right now. If that remodel blueprint, along with this current color scheme, could be combined, I think we'd be at agreement gentlemen.

Dark background sites (especially those based around text) universally suck.

I do like the currect scheme, but a refresh along the same lines would be nice.

And the forums should only be the second tab if the home page comes before it, since that's where the most activity takes place. I'll give a more in-depth critique when I can see it on my computer, though.
