I thought you wanted movies that didn't suck...

Anyway, Snatch and Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels are pretty good action flicks. Check out Full Metal Jacket if you like war movies, and any other Kubrick films really.  I'm assuming you've seen the Bourne trilogy and the Nolan Batman films, but you just definitely give them a watch if not. Inception and Memento are good top.

Princess Bride movie isn't recent, but it's a good movie. From the title, you may think it's just some chick flick, but it's not. It's actually pretty entertaining and has some genuinely funny moments.

Also, Three Idiots is good (it's a Bollywood movie, but it doesn't have a ton of singing and dancing if you don't like that). You might look at the cover and think it's a stupid looking movie (that's what I thought), but it's also a really good movie about doing what you want to do and not what others tell you.

Big Fish is also another good movie.

I concur.. I couldn't get past the first 5 minutes of that movie.

Some of my favorite movies that you might not have watched are:
Nacho Libre
Requiem for a heavy weight (While it's not new it is old enough that I figured most people on here wouldn't have heard about it.)
The Women (1930's version)
Arsenic and Old Lace
Rear Window

Okay so most of these are just old movies...
