According to excel (a friend of mine on TF) who has been checking up on the HD tourney page, I scored 0-15 with Distance advancing to the next round. This is not true because I've never even played Distance, I'd appreciate if someone will fix this.

I kinda feel left out, seeing all these pros socializing and being welcomed by everyone with a good impression
And why play a game that you're not getting better at, it makes no sense
Im pretty sure most new members in HD feel that way and its better if they dont have to suffer anymore.

There's always somebody better. If you don't like Tetris because of the gameplay, then that's one thing. However,  I think you'd be missing out if you gave up just because you're in a rut. We all have hit plateaus, but that doesn't mean the game isn't still fun or interesting. You have a challenge sitting in front of you. Take it on head first! If I were you, I'd turn down the ego a little bit and try to figure out what I'm doing wrong. There are actually quite a few players on harddrop who'd be willing to do a coaching session with you if you genuinely want an outside opinion.

For the first year or so, I never played any 1v1s.  I just played blindly for fun until my fingers hurt at the end of the night and then some.  I remember my heart beating out of my chest when I played my first tournament 1v1 match.  I'm a speed player, so I panicked and just played as fast as I could because my opponent was someone well known on the website and I knew he was good.  I lost, of course, as well as many other 1v1 games I've played in my lifetime.  You learn to slowly just know how well you fall in terms of your skill level by just versing any and all good players inside and outside of tournaments.  Before I used to have heart attacks playing 1v1 against anyone, but now it's equally as fun for me as ffa rooms.  I'm sorry you felt dejected after vsing me but it took me 4 years to be what I am today!  I'm open to playing against you any time, so feel free to ask and maybe I'll teach you a thing or two    

Have you tried out Tetris Online Poland, Nullpomino, or Cultris yet?  They're also very fun tetris games, each has their own flavor and all equally fun.  You should play to have fun! Not just to be good.

Argentino told me he would appear to play the match in my time  11:30AM, his time 12:30AM, but hasn't showed up in 15 mins, should i disqualify him? because our deadline isn't so close. we scheduled an early schedule.

Try to reschedule with him, the next deadline isn't until this Saturday.
