for hanukkah & christmas & kwanzaa gift ideas! [or for any other gift giving holiday including bdays!]

i have so much trouble figuring out what to get parents [esp ones that aren't mine!]
please post your gift ideas! or post something creative that you, yourself, want but don't think ppl would think of!

i always get my boyfriend's parents wine, or coffee (starbucks stuff) that seems like the most typical and good gift... ahha this year Im gonna get them ice wine loool .. but i mean if they don't drink coffee or alcohol... you could try something around the house? something they can use on a daily basis (kitchen... or bathroom stuff)

as for regular presents.. depends how close you are with the person receiving the gift..personally I like ones that are inside jokes or something between just the two of you.. (most of my friends get me transformer stuff.. for like "bumblebee"... )

if all else fails, cash is always nice..

A nice big box... Fits within my budget, and it provides false hope!

Yup, I am utterly horrible at gift giving

nono no cash! lol
just write what you're getting ppl [who aren't hd members..i wouldn't post what i'm getting joey..except she already knows so actually i would..]

hmm not sure if they drink coffee/wine.
this is actually ideas for bridal party gifts too ;x
was thinking of getting the fathers cigars since they both smoke..not sure if that's too typical D:
not sure what to get groomsmen at all D: [maybe a toy robot?? 1 guy's a robotics fanatic/loves junk food..the other i have no idea]
have some ideas for bridesmaids n mothers but nothing i'm in love with

might get everyone tickets to a casino cruise? we can all enjoy it together? but not sure that's what ppl would want & it's not a lasting tangible object D: @.@

list of things i'd get my parents - that maybe others would get theirs.. i

- robes
- comforters/blankets
- slippers
- knife set
- pot set
- cooking utensil set lol
- a grill
- nice tv (like a smart tv - my dad would love that.. iono why)
- coffee maker
- blender
- toaster ? or is that too weddingy?
- a set of encyclopedias
- a recipe book - maybe put your own recipes into them
- a nice purse - i'd get my mom something like this..
- matching pjs

. __ .

parents are usually easiest to shop for
because they look at your gift and then have to say, "aww thanks."
lololol or at least that's how mine are

as for my friends and i we usually get each other something we've been raving about for a long time.. so one year my friends got me an ipod.. another year they got me a hello kitty gift set etc etc.

I got that for like $80 for a friends birthday earlier this year. works wonders.

I recommend giving people poo. It is one of the best gifts people can give.

QuoteLike many setups here, it is useful if your opponent doesn't move and you get 4 Ts in a row.

If you're feeling extra generous with the price, you could consider getting your loved one the Brill Etymological Dictionary of Greek, in 2 volumes.
