Eh, the only reason anyone is hassling him is because he came in here all offended and entitled. We don't need another Corrosive, but I at least welcome anyone who wants to contribute and learn.

carcajou, you should work on some of Paul's Tetris belt levels, it'd learn you some more multiplayer skills and give you some goals to strive for that will also help in multiplayer.

You're welcome of course to pursue only single player modes if you like, but understand that "better than you at Tetris" can mean a lot of things, not just whatever mode you happen to be good at.

anyway the people that laught on me , i dont know if they know but the main tournament i think its a single player tournament, im not sure about this but i think the big tournament in 2010 was a nes tetris tournament so i think its was single player, and im good at single player, in nes tetris i have play today, its was my first time and i have do 223000 (not 999999) but for the first time. i think i can reach 999999, on texmaster in normal i have do sergeant 1.And why i claim im the best it's because i perform in many tetris (yes many are single player but i perform in it ) and i become fast more good, like there is 3 month my sprint was 3min now its 1.09 so i think in 1 year if i play again, im gonna can reach 30 sec sprint.
Dude, I can easily smash your sprint time, on Texmaster Normal I'm GM (which is 9 grades higher, and I've got way more impressive scores in other TGM modes), and for NES IDK because I've not played it since I was about 11, but I'd bet I'm not that far off, and I'd bet other players like Kitaru are better than you. I reckon

I don't know if you're trolling or not, but you should take note that you're not particularly good at most of the individual modes you claim to be good at, and you're definitely not a brilliant all-round player, because I can easily beat almost all of your scores and I wouldn't even claim to be that amazing myself.

Welcome to the forums and all that, but if you want to fit in here you're going to have to drop the arrogance a bit. You just look like an idiot when your scores aren't that good, and even if your scores were that good, you'd still be a dick.

Hi Carcajou,

Welcome to harddrop!

I suggest you look into the TGM single player tetris game modes. They are (in my humble opinion) the most competitive, difficult and impressive game modes.

As for your records.... The problem with N-Blox and tetris 1989 is that the difficulty stops scaling after only a short while. This means that getting a high score doesn't really require skill beyond a certain point... it just requires you to be stubborn, have good endurance and leave your PC on for ages.

Most players here could max out tetris 1989.... but very few would bother because there are harder and better things to be doing with your tetris time

(not that I can really talk since I spent about 2 months getting a 1000000+ TF marathon score)

the people seem never satisfied of my score ,but one day you gonna all agree that im the best player in tetris, because my score gonna augment, and today i have finish my game on tetris ds marathon, i have do 99 999 999 (the perfect score) , i have a picture of this , my father gonna put it on computer and im gonna can show it for proof.it's not write on the ds in the highscore , i think i had a bug because my ds was open during 2 week for this score because i have only play 1-2 hour per day and its very long to reach this score.

Kitaru

If you want to be the best Tetris player, you'll need to stop caring about scores that take time rather than skill.

CaptainPaul

Yeah it's a bug on Tetris ds. If you max out the score it doesn't save. Make sure to take a good picture. When i maxed it out I forgot to take one and was soooo disappointed

Kitaru

I think you can do it if you get an exact counterstop, but getting points beyond that will cause the score to not save. You can still get soft drop points at 20G by using wall kicks and infinity if I recall correctly.
