Hello Harddrop, I've been on Harddrop for little over a year now and I have yet to introduce myself, I don't know how I found my way to Harddrop in the first place, but I'm very glad I did!
I was bored one day and somehow ended up playing a game called Tetris. Through Google, I eventually ended up on www.tetrisfriends.com. This was when Tetrisfriends was new and had a limited number of game modes to play, but Survival was more than enough at the time. So after a few months I had concluded that I was pretty good at this game (altough I had no way of telling as Arena Live had not been implemented), and thought I'd search around the internet for other people playing, to see how I compared to the best.

After a while I stumbled upon a video of some guy named Blink, it took me only a few seconds of watching him to realise I wasn't that great after all. I was a disgrace to Tetris.
Although Blinks movements were far too fast for my eyes to actually follow, I didn't give up hope on tetris just yet. I was determined to one day become good enough to compete with this superhuman tetris player.
My journey started at Tetrisfriends, and when I finally got sub 60 seconds, I was introduced to Harddrop and learned about all these things called T-spin triple, DAS, 4-wide, Nullpomino and TOJ to name a few.

After learning about Nullpomino, I experimented with DAS, key bindings, and no line clear delay. I played and played until I reached my current 32.13 seconds Sprint record!
The last month I've been playing exclusively TOP, thanks to Wojtek, and everybody who were involved in making English patch and custom DAS.

So there it is, and I'm sorry I don't say a lot about myself as a person, but I figured my life of tetris would be more relevant.

Lastly, I would like to thank the kindhearted community here at Harddrop for making tetris more than just another game to me. So thank you very much!

Barney was the only very fast player who regularly posted in the Strategy/Help and Introductions sections. I wished people would have appreciated that more.

It's not only his times, it's also his finesse. There are a lot of games where he used less than 90 left/right moves. That's less than 1 left/right move per piece!

However, his story should also be a warning to any other skilled Tetris player: Never go to the army! Or you'll end up like this:
